The First Adam: “I’ll do it my way.”

Each Old Testament book points to a particular aspect of Jesus Christ’s life and ministry. The Hebrew Scriptures were written primarily for Jesus: to show him who he was, what his mission was, and what reward he would receive for carrying it out. Each time you read something in Genesis–Malachi, ask yourself: What did Jesus learn from this?
