Was Nick O’Demus really Irish? No, and neither could he be born again when Jesus supposedly told him in John 3 that he must be. No one could be born again until Jesus had died, rose again, ascended to heaven, and poured out the gift of holy spirit on Pentecost. This teaching looks at John 3:1-10 and then three sections in the Old Testament to show what Jesus really said to Nicodemus, and how astounding it was that Nick was clueless as to what Jesus meant.
