As a Christian, you not only live in a War Zone, you are a War Zone. It is critical to understand the battle between the two natures (old and new) in each child of God. Jesus Christ has set you free from the penalty of sin, but its power is still resident within you, and you must choose to exercise his power (dunamis) to overcome it, which you can.
