If there were only two others crucified with Christ, as most all paintings throughout history have depicted, the Gospel accounts significantly contradict one another, and the Bible is nothing more than a collection of stories that may or may not be true. This teaching is an excellent barometer to measure one’s attitude toward the Word of God.
