Rich Robson teaches on the “foolishness of the cross,” grounding his message in Isaiah 29 and 1 Corinthians 1–2. He opened by showing how God routinely overturns the expectations of the world—using what seems weak, unimpressive, or foolish to accomplish His greatest purposes. Where human wisdom exalts intellect, status, and accomplishment, divine wisdom reveals itself through humility, faith, and the self-giving work of Jesus Christ. Rich highlighted that the message of salvation is remarkably simple: confess Jesus as Lord and believe that God raised him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9–10). This simplicity is precisely what offends worldly wisdom, yet it is the very means by which God displays His power and grace.
He then shifted the focus to what lies ahead—the future world under Jesus’ righteous rule, the restoration of creation, and the gift of eternal life. In that coming day, believers will receive new, imperishable bodies and share in the glory God has prepared for those who love Him.
