If God is all good, all the time, then the evil we see and experience cannot originate from a good and Holy God. So, where does it come from? Why does He “allow” it? Why does nothing seem to be changing for the better? Have you ever felt disappointed in God to the point of considering giving up on Him all together?
The truth is, God and our Lord Jesus Christ grieve over those who are in despair without a proper understanding of how to deal with it. When we take our objections directly to God and bear our souls before Him, cleaving to the truth that God is all good, we can begin to unload these weighty burdens from our lives. Remember, to let Him do the heavy lifting for you!
“So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor. Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you. Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.” (1 Peter 5:6-8)
