We are dedicated to holding fast to the truth of God’s written Word and living in full agreement with the TLTF Statement of Beliefs. Our desire is not only to teach the truth, but to practice it with integrity in every aspect of our lives.

With the mind of our Lord Jesus Christ as our example, we will continually put off the old nature and pursue the new life God has called us to live. As Ephesians 4 exhorts, we will strive to walk worthy of our calling, guarding the unity of the spirit in the bond of peace. We commit to kindness, compassion, forgiveness, and to speaking truthfully to one another.

Following the heart of Philippians 2, we will reject selfish ambition and empty pride. Instead, we will choose humility, placing the needs of our brothers and sisters in the Body of Christ above our own. For the sake of God’s work, we will set aside personal ego, welcoming reproof and correction when needed, and trusting the Lord Jesus to defend us so that we never elevate ourselves at another’s expense.

We will hold to honest, righteous convictions—even when they differ—while remaining open to understanding your perspective. We will support the majority’s direction unless doing so would conflict with the clear teachings of Scripture.

Above all, our aim is not to please people, but to please the Lord, who searches and tests our hearts.
